​2017 ​Adopt-a-Family Christmas Event  

​Our Team Houston organization held Coach Lucky's 9th annual adopt-a-family event on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Spring Baptist Church.  We were fortunate to have identified 4 deserving families with 23 children between them.  Again this year, current and former players and families participated in our event with over 100 individuals contributing to our adopted families.  Team Houston families exemplify the giving spirit of the season remembering our fortunate we are to be able to help others during this time.

​We also to want to thank our sponsors.  First, Keith Isbell and Panera Bread for supplying pastries, coffee, juice, and gift cards for all the families for the 5th year in a row.  Belfor Company for providing the pancake mix and sausage.  The pastor's son-in-law's company who provided 18 bicycles. ​Finally, we again want to thank Mr. Bartley, Principal from Ross Sterling Middle School in Humble ISD for attending and sharing his good spirits and positive  messages.

​The Team Houston organization wants to  again give a special THANK YOU to Spring Baptist Church for allowing us to use their amazing youth center on Louetta Rd for our event. for the 2nd year in a row. Several members of the congregation put their cooking skills to work in the kitchen making pancakes and sausage for everyone.
